Eton College Centre of Innovation and Research in Learning (CIRL)

The objective of this refurbishment was to undertake a contemporary refurbishment of the entire building, with a view to providing a 'Centre for Innovation and Research into Learning'.

The project had to be sensitive to the existing building but at the same time the original sectional and dark teaching spaces had to be transformed into a brighter and more inspiring learning environment.  The result is a blend between a crisp and contemporary modern interior, with some carefully restored features of the original building.

Eton College have produced a short film which shows the building in action.

The project was also shortlisted for the AJ Retrofit Awards 2015.
