Royal Holloway Students' Union Office Reconfiguration

The existing Students’ Union building had offices on ground and first floor, as well as a total of three receptions; it also lacked informal meeting space for the Union’s growing staff numbers.  As a result the building was disjointed for both students and staff.

This project removed the disjointed offices and swapped the downstairs office with the large upstairs student break out space.  At the same time, it also introduced a single, large Corian reception counter for all student enquiries.  The result rationalised all student function and event space onto the ground floor, with all student support services being on the first.

The building now functions as it should, and also has capacity for expansion in staff members for years to come.
