Sacred Heart Parish Hall
The project consisted of two phases, the first phase involved the demolition of an existing building and the construction of a new single storey church hall. An extensive external works scheme was also undertaken to complement the newly constructed building. Phase two focused on refurbishing the existing church.
Primarily, the hall was to provide a functional space for church events and in addition act as a temporary facility during the completion of the phase two works. The new building was designed to include two large function rooms, kitchen facility and associated amenities.
Improvement works to the church included the extension of the sacristy to provide a new robing room, confessional and toilet facilities. The existing church windows were also replaced to enhance the buildings' aesthetics and energy performance. Internally, the decoration was revitalised by renewing the finishes throughout.
