Highfield Court Halls of Residence - Royal Holloway University

Highfield Court forms one of Royal Holloway’s halls of residence on the tranquil campus site.  The accommodation block is split across three buildings and houses 126 students. 

As part of the University’s cyclical refurbishment programme, HDC was appointed as Project Manager and Quantity Surveyor to modernise the student block through the summer vacation period.

The works were as follows:

Modernisation of 126 en suite bedrooms.

- Refurbishment of 18 kitchens.

- Redecoration of all communal student areas, corridors and stairwells.

- Upgrading of all door access control units, fire detection heads and emergency lighting.
