Multi-Purpose Sports Hall
After a challenging feasibility and planning stage, this project aimed to enhance the sports offering currently provided by the Vickers Hall facility at Bishopsgate School.
Built on a green field site to the rear of the school, this steel frame, masonry and rainscreen clad building is a striking and varied design which marries well with the existing building stock and surrounding Crown Estate land.

The building provides a large multi-use finished in 'Dynamik' acoustic wall panelling and sports flooring which is showered with natural light via four large northern lights.
At first floor, a large gym space provided in addition to a sub-dividable dance studio and gallery for sports viewing. Within the impressive foyer resides the new 6 lane entre-prise climbing wall, a unique addition to the sports curriculum.

The completion of a multi-use artificial pitch adjacent to the new hall will provide a high-quality sport complex akin with a private health club for pupils and local residents to enjoy under a community use agreement.
