Papplewick School
Willow House
Willow House is the new, site fronting, three storey feature building within Papplewick Preparatory School. The building has two classrooms on the ground floor with nine multi-pupil dormitories spread across the first and second floors. Toilet and shower facilities were also installed on all floors.
This imposing and attractive building was erected with piled foundations and traditional masonry cavity walling, part rendered externally, with a crown roof comprising of a clay tile pitch and a Sarnafil single layer membrane flat roof. Externally, a subtle mix of soft and hard landscaping was utilised to achieve a practical, yet aesthetically pleasing look.
Despite being faced by challenging ground conditions, the project was delivered on budget and to an excellent quality finish.

The building was opened in October 2018 by former Papplewickian and England international rugby player, James Haskell.
