Boarding House Refurbishments
HDC are proud to be selected as the Quantity Surveyors for the Boarding House refurbishment programme for our prestigious client Eton College.
These projects involve the complete refurbishment and improvement of the College’s 25 Boarding Houses on a rolling programme based on condition.

The programme includes many high-quality buildings ranging in age from fifteenth to twentieth century and from those of significant architectural merit to Grade I listing.
​
HDC are providing a full traditional Quantity Surveying service for these projects with values ranging from £2.5 - £5M.
Phase IV - Durnford Boarding House
​
Named after the brothers F.E. Durnford and Walter Durnford, Durnford’s famous alumni include Oscar Browning and Tom Hiddleston.
Phase III - Wotton Boarding House
​
Built in 1903, Wotton House was named after Sir Henry Wotton, Provost of Eton 1624 – 1639.
Phase II - College Boarding House
​
College dates back to the original foundation of the School in 1440 and is still home to the 70 King’s Scholars.
Phase I - Waynflete Boarding House
​​
Waynflete is one of 25 Boarding Houses.
