Client: Chelsea Football Club
The Megastore is located at Stamford Bridge, the home ground of Chelsea FC, one of the World’s leading football clubs.
The shell and core was constructed in 1997 as part of the South Complex which also provided a new hotel, residential accommodation and offices wrapped around the new South Stand
A separate contract was placed for the fit out of the megastore providing a flexible facility suited to the massive matchday demand as well as the more relaxed shopping experience during other periods.
The megastore was expanded, remodelled and refurbished in 2006 to provide modern improved facilities suited to market demands and expectations. HDC acted as both Quantity Surveyors and Project Managers on this project which was delivered to a very tight programme and let in several packages to combine best value and speed of delivery for the client.
