This project in the centre of Wokingham, located on a sloping site, was made possible by the demolition of existing buildings occupying the site, and the installation of retaining walls adjacent to the northern boundary.

Key features of the project include:

  • ‘Church style’ deep pitch clay tile roofs and extensive curtain wall glazing picked out in red

  • Ground floor dedicated to IT facilities and reference books

  • First floor lending library advantageously accessed at the same level from the adjacent and extensive car parking facilities on the northern boundary
