This multi-functional project provides a significant facility for both the teaching and sporting activities of the College. The Student Accommodation (comprising 56 Study bedrooms in self contained clusters) is now being well utilised and compliments the Colleges’ approach to further education.

Key features include:

  • Multi-sport hall with provision for spectators seating all to Sport England standards

  • Commercial standard hair salon

  • Better communication through the construction of a link bridge and corridors

  • The five storey student accommodation is structurally supported through the existing second floor of retained buildings with new steel beams and columns bearing off piled pad foundations at ground level
