Brunel University Lecture Building Modernisation

This project involved the internal refurbishment of Brunel University’s landmark Central Lecture Building.

The original library was constructed in the 1990’s and an example of bold massive forms of exposed board finished concrete.

The brief was to bring this building up to date with the principal features of the current education environment:

These features include:

  • 18 lecture theatres & 30 classrooms with state of the art support facilities

  • latest audio/ visual aids

  • addressing mandatory DDA requirements

    The project was delivered on time and within budget.

    This is one of several projects undertaken for Brunel University.
