Significant research preceded the construction of this facility to ensure all the objectives were met amidst tight planning constraints and cost control.

Principal features:

  • the accommodation includes changing rooms, leisure/ dining areas, offices, teaching and community facilities

  • the external treatment compliments the adjacent first team training facility including the curtain walling, brass cladding and projecting eaves


    A separate contract was placed for new youth and community pitches to complete this facility where HDC acted as Quantity Surveyor and Project Co-ordinator. This includes:

  • Floodlit match pitch

  • Floodlit all weather pitch

  • Goalkeeper training area

  • Various training pitches

  • A new lake which is used for irrigation

    This is one of many projects undertaken for Chelsea FC.
